Lee – Aero takes second round of UK Nationals!

Tq at Kidderminster, A-one also competitive in the rain !

Second round of the UK National series took place at the Kidderminster track. Although Saturday the weather was ok this wasn’t really the case on Sunday. First round already started with dark clouds above the track. Darren Bloomfield took the tq spot after the first round of qualifying with Lee just a couple of tenths behind. Second round saw lee putting in 13 laps ! Nobody else managed to make 13 laps so after two rounds it was Lee who took TQ spot. The A-one proved to be very competitive on different surfaces, after a dirt track in Tiverton the Aero was also on the pace on this high grip Astroturf track.
Then it started raining so bad that the race director decided to cancel the rest of the race while the track was flooded. Pitty that the meeting had to be cancelled but taking the conditions in to account it was the right thing to do. So after his first win at the Tiverton track Lee confirmed his good form at a very wet track in Kidderminster. Congratulations Lee!!
