Lee takes 4th spot at Southport

Lee Martin takes 4th spot at Southport !

Round 5 of the UK series took place at the multisurface track in Southport, a small city near the seaside. The Southport track is very challenging due to the different kind of surfaces as Astroturf, gras, stones, tarmac.. Like at each national round drivers had 2 opportunities to practice (3 minutes each). Lee was immediately on the pace and the car looked great. So no reason to change the setup. Then qualifying started and the sun came out, apparently this had a big impact on the track which gave us a bit of a struggle to find the good setup. Lee managed to qualify in 6th position. For the finals the car looked ok, starting in the middle of the field wasn’t an advantage and Lee saw himself in 10th position after one corner, in both the first and second final. He kept his cool however and drove awesome finals, finishing 3th in the 2th A-main and 5th in A-main 3. This gave him the overall 4th position. At a very hard track lee drove an awesome race thanks again!!
